I’ve mentioned before that one of the perks of working in the book industry is the availability of pre-publication galleys. I picked this one up at a trade show ages ago (probably Mountains & Plains, fall 2009 because of the book’s summer 2010 publication date) but never got around to it. I found it one day staring at me from the bookshelf, appearing to say “read me.”
